Annual membership dues are tax-deductible and are available in the following categories:

As a Friend, you will receive the quarterly newsletter "Between Friends" and receive invitations to special programs and to the annual meeting of members each January.

Contributions to the Technology Endowment Fund or Book Endowment Fund,
ensure perpetual memorials whose income is dedicated to the purchase of high-quality books and materials not affordable through the library's regular budget.

Contributions can also be made in memory of a loved one or in honor of a special friend or event. Books will be purchased with your donation, and a bookplate will be placed in the front cover of each book, indicating that it has been donated by you in memory of or in honor of a person you designate. This is a great way to honor someone and benefit the library too.

You can volunteer to work in the bookstore by asking for an application in the library's administrative office on the second floor or leave your name and telephone number with a staffer in the bookstore and the chairperson of the steering committee which operates the bookstore will call you to arrange an appointment.

Some of the approximate 60 men and women who staff the bookstore have served in it since its beginning in 1982, helping to earn more than $900,000 which has been used to benefit the library in myriad ways. Join them-you'll like them
